Feline Friends Friday: Oakland Cat Vid Fest

If you live in the Bay Area don’t have plans on Saturday, you do now! If you are a cat video lover (and, why wouldn’t you be), Oakland’s 2nd Annual Cat Vid Fest will be happening from 3pm-10pm at the Great Wall of Oakland. General admission is $10 ($5 for children), with prices going up from there with various VIP seating and experiences. Been dying to meet Lil Bub? Here’s your chance! Add-on experience tickets start at $20 to meet her and take a pic and $50 to pet her.

Lil Bub and the Oakland skyline, ready to meet fans!

The main feature of the event is the video screening of the best cat videos the internet has to offer, all shown on a 100 foot screen. And of course cats and kittens will be available for adoption, so if you’ve been thinking of adding a feline friend to your family, here’s your chance! Best of all, proceeds from the festival go to the East Bay SPCA (Tux is from the SF SPCA, so we of course love and support every SPCA).

We unfortunately can’t make it this year due to previous plans (the horror, the heartache, the agony!!), but you better believe that Tux and I will be there next year representing Tux the Dapper Gent!
