Cat Lady Covets: Graphic Cat Tunic

Graphic Cat Tunic - Anthropologie

Attention cat ladies: I am seriously coveting this shirt right now. Like, I reallllly really want it. It’s the perfect breezy summer shirt that could be dressed up with skinny black pants and heels for dinner out on the town, or dressed down with jeans for a casual daytime look. It even has an adorable embroidered hem to finish it off. I’m already picturing all of the possibilities. It’s a tad expensive, but what do you think, can I splurge on this one?

Daily Dose of Dapper: Face Hugs

Tux face hug

According to my mom, just about one of the cutest things that us cats do is hug our face when we’re sleeping. You know, that little arm stretch and then we squeeze our face and then go back to sleepy town. I have to admit, it IS pretty cute. And for more cuteness, I decided to thrown in some gratuitous belly fluff below.

Daily Dose of Dapper: Hide and Seek

Tux under blanket

Aww you found me! I thought I had a really good hiding place too and no one would ever find me under this blanket – my white paws and nose always give me away. It is nice and warm under here though…I think I’ll just hang out for a bit, as soon as I can pop my ears out from under it. Ahh much better!

Daily Dose of Dapper: Work It

Tux elliptical

So mom has started a new workout program and is on day 22 of a 30-day challenge. She does the workout everyday at home and it looks really tough, so I like to help her out and cheer her on. Here I am giving looks of encouragement while she’s on the elliptical, and spotting her while she’s lifting weights on the floor mat.

And her personal trainer is none other than Cody Sattler from The Bachelorette Season 10 and Bachelor in Paradise! He’s awesome and really encouraging, and does an amazing (and affordable) online training 30-day workout challenge if anyone needs an extra nudge before swimsuit season officially starts!

Cat Lady Covets: Cat Butt Magnets

cat butt magnets

No butts about it, these magnets are the cats meow! Ok, all puns aside, these tail ends are the purrfect way to add a little whimsy to your fridge or memo board. Though we see they are missing the tuxedo cat butt, we think they need to fix that asap.

Daily Dose of Dapper: Observing Earth Day

Tux in box

Happy Earth Day everyone! I’m trying to do my part by re-using boxes as cat beds. They are sturdy, fun to chew on, and quite comfy to curl up in. I also love the positive words of affirmation on this box – Gorgeous! Fantastic! Fabulous! Makes a guy feel good about himself while lounging around. Anyone else have good tips for keeping our planet healthy?

Tux Tuesday: Star Wars at Petco

Star Wars at Petco

All this talk about Star Wars yesterday made me wonder if Petco had any new Star Wars themed toys since my last purchases (Yoda ears and Chewbacca/Yoda mice). Well, they definitely do and will probably produce even more with all of the hype around the next movie.

I’ve somehow lost my Yoda mouse and think this little Yoda plush toy would be a great replacement. And how cute are the Han Solo and Leia mice? But don’t even get me started on the Princess Leia buns hat, mom better not get any ideas! They have tons more than what I’m showing here if you’re a fan. What’s your favorite piece from their Star Wars collection?

Daily Dose of Dapper: Obi-Wan CATobi

Obi-Wan CATobi

With the excitement building after the release of the trailer for Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens, I couldn’t help but get dressed up to celebrate. I’m quite a fan, as you might remember from my posts about my Star Wars cat toys and Yoda ears. I can’t believe I have to wait until December though…sigh. Is anyone else as excited as I am for the new Star Wars movie?

Cat Lady Covets: Purr-fect Doormat

Purr-fect doormat - Modcloth

What better way to welcome guests into your home than with a doormat covered in playful black kitties? It says you love cats, and is also of course functional in keeping the dirt out of your house and on the mat instead!

Daily Dose of Dapper: Itch Relief (part 2)

Tux and the back scratcher

A couple of weeks ago I discovered this amazing scratchy device that mom sometimes uses to itch her back. She used it on my chin and back and I fell in love and beg for scratchy time now.

But since mom isn’t always home to help me with my scratches, I decided I needed to figure out how to use it for myself. Let’s see here, so I grab it and flip it over onto my back, and then start moving it back and forth on the itchy spots…oh, that’s nice.
